Managed to get out today & gave the forshore a go. First time ive fished here in 25+years plus had a new rod to get used to. Maybe not the best place to go to get back into the swing of things but heyho.

Well, i blanked but had a huge bite that i hit into but it snagged me & i lost it.

Only saw a thorney and whiting caught from 7 or 8 anglers.

Was nice to get out but now im aching all over! Once i recover i鈥檒l be out again & id even welcome a woofie 馃槀

Well done getting out and posting a report.
If you are happy catching dogs our forum doggie specialist (Notso) has recently informed us that the knap at Barry has started producing the well loved species.
Enjoy !
Looking forward to your next report :D

Hi Legal Eagle

Better luck next time. Hope you managed to get on the mark ok. I've also returned to sea fishing after a long break. It's surprising how much has changed.

I parked on Rover Way which wasnt what i wanted but i couldnt find the route via the back of the industrial estate. Luckily the car was fine when i got back to it.

A hell of a lot has changed over there, so much mud & weed in places it never used to be & not so many little bays as there used to be. But it was good to be out again.
