Does anyone have any news on whats been caught lately ? I Am going tomorrow with Dropped a Pollack . So far it's 2 - 2 on cod/codling this year . More luck then judgement .hee hee. will be fishing on the monkey pole , if we get near it ,or up on the wall if we can't . if anyones going see you down there .

fished birds last sunday what a load of crap, one bloody whiting. Poacher are they clamping cars down on the foreshore, I have heard this off the lads, not been down there myself for a while.

Dai As A Regular User Of 4shore, I Av Heard This 2. But Never Seen Any 1 Clamped. If They Were Gonna Clamp U They Would Do It On Rover Way. I Park Round Bak Where The New Factories Now Stand. They Cant Clamp U There Cos That Cant Possibly Belong To Them. U Could B A Factory Worker 4 All They No. I Have Never Been Bothered. Best Thing Is To Ask Lads Who Told U Where They Got Their Info From. Have They Actually Witnessed It. If Not And It Is Second Hand So 2 Speak, That May B Some 1 Tryin 2 Keep U Off The Shore. So They Can Av It All To Emselves . If U No Wot I Mean. Id Say They R Notclampin. I Av Not Witnessed It, So Until I Do. I Will Think No Different. Noin My Luk I Will Get Clamped 1st Now.heehee.

Fished foreshore on last nights high tide. (blanked, but that's not the point of this post) I always park beside the factories, thanks to advice from others in the forum, and have never had any trouble with clamping or anything else. Tho I'm no legal expert, I know for a fact that to be clamped there has to be a clear and visible indication that you are in a clamping area, otherwise it cam't legally be done! So I would take any chat about clamping with a pinch of salt, UNLESS you start seeing warning signs goin up or someone who has been clamped let's us know about it personally. What a nightmare, took the head lamp off charge ,plugged it in had a short and melted it .So phoned the tackle shop to ask if they stocked spedleo headlamps ?he said yes, so went in on the way down ,but he didn't have the right one .I wanted the fx3 . (does anyone no who stocks them? or will i have to send of for it ?) back to the fishing . With no light , decided to fish pennarth life boat slip .I caught one small codling and one small conger . Dropped a Pollock blanked . not many fish caught . Chap next to us was using small hooks and baits and was catching small whitting ,one rockling and one small codling . For me , I quite enjoyed myself , even though the night started badly .Doesn't look like i missed much down the foreshore . As a reply to the other matter , I've never been clamped at the foreshore or seen anyone clamped . What will they try next to stop us fishing these marks ?

I bought a "Durastar" headlamp off e-bay, it has LEDs & it has three levels of brightness, 2, 4, & 8, If you use the 2 LED setting it is ample to bait up, change traces etc. On 4 you can sort out the biggest of overruns, & on the 8 LED setting you can frighten alsations walking on the footpath (this is true, I put mine on 8 one night & an alsation that was off its lead ran back to its owner) I dont know which of us was most scared!
I have used it now 4/5 times & its as bright as ever, they reckon it will run for 500 hrs on 2 LEDs, it takes a bank of 3AAAs, I reckon its the best headlamp I have ever had (or seen)!

I got the 8 led 1 from argos for £10, similar to above, either have 2,4,8 leds on, well good for a tenner, if thinking of buying 1 though make sure you take a look at it before going home as they are substituting with some crappy 2 led energizer headlamp if they aint got the original in stock, only managed to get the 1 i wanted at the 3rd argos store i tried (Bridgend).
