I have five hours to kill in cardiff tomorrow (01/05/07),where can I go fishing .
I'll only be able to take a travel rod (11 feet and casting 50 grammes)
are there any spots for mullet or flounder or even bass

Your best bet would be penarth pier mate, or the barrage. No mullet or bass but if your restricted to 3oz weights then these are the places to fish!!

thanks lads went to Cardiff but couldn't get from bus station to barrage and back and have time to fish but will try again over the weekend

just take the boat over (goes from down by the opera to the barrage)
