After picking our lugworms up at lathams Barry and I decided to fish cart gap.on arrival at 10.00 high tide had been and was about an hour down .we both set one rod up each with two hook clip down rigs and size 2/0 hooks hoping for a bass. For bait we had lug prawns and squid. First cast baited with the lug we both had small whiting that's the way it went to 14.00hours with one or two every cast and then the dabs came on the feed for the last hour we started getting double shots of them until we ran out of bait at 15.00. All the fish were undersized and returned.there was no weed but the crabs were stripping bait of the hooks every ten minutes. On a good note my parking ticket from a month ago was squashed :clap2:
