hi
need to learn to pendulum cast and i need to learn right now! not completely useless and have been practicing abit but its just crap and i keep losing the lead when it swngs behind me and end up having no power out of it.
just cant seem to master it and its really p#####g me off!
not expecting to cast 200 yards from the beach everytime but a nice constant 120 plus yards would be nice.
have spoke with a couple of local instructors but there abit busy til november.
I will travel and more than willing to pay.

can anybody help?

Depending on where you are in Devon there should be someone near at hand willing to help. For a start you could do worse than drop a pm to Phil Hyde (user name philtherod), IIRC he does regular casting teach ins during the summer months...

Oh and just to add - forget about pendulum until you have mastered the off the ground cast first. A decent OTG will see you over 150 yards on the field and is the basic building block for the pendulum cast anyway. At the most basic level the nuts and bolts of the cast is the same, you are just swinging the lead rather than starting from a stationary position on the ground. But it helps to have those nuts and bolts sorted first before moving onwards and upwards.

get yourself to one of the clubs westward or weymouth great bunch of blokes and loads of advice on offer from some of the uks best has helped me no end

lol as i said great bunch ,i did hear that you were the master at them ,i take it dennis aint sober enough to post the results from last meet after the irish open this weekend
