hi all ive put this in the casting forum too but thought id drop it in here too are there any fellow caster s who are up for giving some tution locally
Be gateful for some help on technique etc

I have the same issues.
Beach casters, loads of line, big weight, stand to one side, slightly twisted, Rod back as far as able, in one movement...
Step forward, bringing rod to upright position, as foot reaches the floor and rod in forward position let go of the line, moments later the bait and weight should sail MILES into the sea.
It's all about techniques.

Hi mate. If you go in Gorleston Angling and ask them, they should put you in touch with Kev Southey, who is one of the top casters in the country

Yes i did try to contact kevin mate but never got back to me for whatever reason just assuming he is a busy man which is fine really

I was in touch with Kev before I put his name up, and he still does tuition.
