Little challenge this week checking out on the Clyde fish population . We fished Gourock area mostly on soft plastic . The mackerel did take most of our time tho . For species we caught mackerel , pollock , colley ,cod , (goldsenny) wrasse , dab and grey gurnard . On the plus side the fresh mackerel tasted delicious .
another great watch Nico, nice to see once again so many fish healthy fish being returned.Looks like the famous "TAM THE CHEF" might have a bit of competition now .....yum yum.Had a bash at the area on the "big loch"after your perch trip a week or so,my son and I had brillaint sport from our inflatable yaks with us both breaking our pbs many times with fish to over 2 lb.thanks for the info it helps a lot.tight lines.JIm
The Clyde is bouncing right now Jim . I always enjoy trying new techniques as well , especially those soft lures . Love the cooking too , those mackerel are tasty !
I might improve a bit in the cooking department , I can only take so much with me on any trip . I want to do a seafood medley next but not in the Clyde . Those mackerel taste great with buttered bread , i know it's messy !
