there was a problem with a welsh water pumping station causing the back-up overflow system to kick in which unfortunatly pumps sh##te into the sea, great to see where our rates go....

Heard it on the news this morning about the sewage problem, but they said it was better now and the beaches were open to swimming again. Having said that, you would never get me in the water round pensarn, yuck

Things should get better for us fisherfolk then, more of a chance of a fish or two, well done shaggy for getting a fish in those conditions.

well you did better than me. I fished rhos point sat night. pumped a few lug and fished the flood and managed a eel (returned) and nothing else. Fished colwyn bay prom high water lunchtime sunday and not a bite apart from the barbecue i had why i was there. not even a macky. The whitebait showed for a minute but if you blinked you would have missed them. Fished rhos point on the flood again last nite. crabs stripping bait everycast. cast one out and left it for five minutes instead of fifteen just to make sure i wasn't smashing the bait. lugworm came back half eaten and nipped to bits.
