I have recently bought an akios 656ctm. Given it a good bashing one afternoon for a few hours drowning some worms and more than happy.
One thing I did notice though was when centering the spool in the cage, I had to screw in the end cap on the right hand side of the reel all the way in to the end of the threads, is this a normal thing?? I can always remember my other reels having lots more travel than that ??

1 of mine is the same if you cant get it to go far enough you can remove the bearing and put another thin brass shim under the bearing it should give you a little more play.

I didnt think it was supposed to be like that, but ill have a look at it. Im glad somebody understood what I was getting at though lol reading the post back just now, it wasnt very clear lol

forgot to say check the shims are in the end cap too.
