No, not newly discovered history of the "invention" of uptiding!
Yesterday I acquired a couple of old uptiders for £50, the seller said they were Century blanks and I believe him.
I vaguely remember Century did market some uptide blanks probably a couple of decades back. These rods are a carbon cross weave butt-middle and a black fibreglass 4' rolled in tip.
They are marked "Aquarius" "uptide light" and "uptide heavy"
Both are in a tatty, extremely well used state and could be used as they are. But Century blanks are classics so I will give these rebuild.
My questions are - does anyone remember Century uptide blanks?
Any info on the rodbuilder "Aquarius"
