Best fishing rod I've ever owned, love it to bits. Very thin blank but bags of power, sits well in the tide and wind, doesn't fold or flop around and good bite detection.

Rated to 150g but I've pendulumed 175 plus bait into a big sea no worries. Will put a bait a long long way if you want it to and a pleaseure to use over clean beaches to mixed ground. Had a play with mine on the field and 200 yards is well within its reach, Kieth from Jersey Casting reckons 250 plus is possible and I believe him.

Only place I wouldn't use mine is into the rough stuff / kelp beds, but then that is why you have a WR300 / Komp SS as that is what they were designed for.

As the above posts & looking at your location I probably use mine in the same places you would fish.
Very very underated rod capable of well over 200 yards. Pendulums 6 oz + bait no problem, light, very good bite indication & plenty of power lower down. Quite forgiving timing wise in the cast as well:thumbs:

i believe as kieth white says also about distances achievable with ld . the profile evo altough off topic a little is another slim light brilliant piece of gear.

I have two TTLD's and love then for overall fishing , as the other guys have stated they are excellent with a wide range of leads and can be made up to suit both Multi or fixed spool if you get a blank. I have used mine on the filed and hit 210 meters with the 100 gram and a friend has hit 220 with the 125 gram.

As mentioned the power in the rod is deceptive when you look at the slim dimensions but has no problem with a 150 gram lead and a good sized bait yet can still be used with a 84 gram ( 3 oz) and register bites beautifully. Doesn't need a fast hit just a slow smooth cast sends the rigs out with ease.

Here is a video clip of the LD on the field.
