Hi might be getting my hands on one of these just wanted to hear a few thoughts from people who may have had one cheers guys
You bought those of me chap. You came to cottesmore to pick them up.In my opinion they will soon get harder and harder to get hold of as they tick all the boxes as a match rod with the power to cushion your bait through the cast to surprising distances. Dont be fooled by the rating to 225g as they feel more forgiving than the sport which is rated to 200g. I can get more distance with the sm over the sport which is strange but is due to the stored power in the butt section. I have a pair and will re-build them when needed and keep re-building them til i completely run them in the ground. When they die i'll be gutted if i cant find any to replace them.
They're really quite rubbish mate so if you tell me who is selling it to you then i'll buy it so you dont have to!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:roll1::roll1::roll1:
Got me confused with someone else chap!!!!!You bought those of me chap. You came to cottesmore to pick them up.
Glad you are pleased with them. They do take some beating. Century did not improve when they bought the new ones out!
Stand corrected! I did buy one of yours and very pleased with it. You have PM.Got me confused with someone else chap!!!!!
Hi guys, I`m about to buy 1 of these and was wondering what the difference is between the mk1 & 2 ? Is the mk 2 the LD ?[
just totally different rods, mk1s 13ft mk 2 13-6, mk1 suits reel high, to me anyway, mk 2s more reel low by all accounts, had most of the mk1 TTs all very good rods at what they were built to do, not had a mk2 match,
got the TTLDSM, very happy with it apart from the reelseat feels rickety easily changed tho tipss perfect.
The mark one rods aint made anymore so look on the classifieds on here or fleabay and if you see one grab it quick.Where would be the best place to get a 13ft mk 1 ? Most places only sell the mk2 13ft 6. And also what colour is on the standard factory built one`s ?
