Chapel St Leonards help

Hi everyone, this is my first post, we're hoping to try Chapel St Leonards next week on the midday tides but I've noticed they are pretty low tides, just over 5m? Will this affect the fishing and which methods and bait would you recommend please?

Hello matey
Like you i am fairly new to this site. Been fishing around Chapel over the last few months and have drawn blanks nearly every time. My mate however has caught a nice size plaice and small dab and a weaver for which i got stung by (oouch) No sign of smoothhounds or bass though. We have tried nearly all baits suggested except peeler crab, and different rigs but i just think the fish are not around. It appears to be quiet in most places. Locals are a good source of info and well as the tackle 4 u shop at Ingolmels. We have tried the beach from Chapel point, six marshes up to Huttoft and yesterday we tried Sutton on sea now the holidays are over and i caught a small Dab on the in-coming tide (yipeee) The best thing about all this is that no matter if we catch fish or not it is a great day out and so so relaxing.
Hope you are sucessful and that you enjoy yourself and i hope to bump into you on the beach for a chat sometime. :bye1:
