Hi, I have just fitted a lowrance global map 5300 (internal antenna) in the cuddy of my new boat and it works fine, locks on to satellites within seconds .not used it at sea yet but have been told that the grp cuddy would not hamper the unit in any way.
I just thought that with only one connecter and less cables to route there’s less to go wrong
