Hi

Going off a charter from swansea at the end of spetember. late bass hunting mainly - skipper has bait well full of sandeels. However, on slack water we may do a bit of bottom fishing. any tips? wha bait should work best - fish or worm?

When we fish out of Swansea during the winter we use black lug and squid for the cod, but seen as though its summer not that you would notice I would suggest that you use fresh mackerel, squid and king rag. Try combinations of the baits mentioned or just use them on their own. Experiment.

Pick up some mud rag from Roger's the tackle shop in the marina. They also have plenty of frozen bait, blow lug, black lug as well, so you'll have plenty of choice!
