Hello.

I am a complete novice to fishing, but me and a mate are looking to get out on a chartered fishing boat for a few hours this coming weekend.

He lives in Prestwick, so we'd be looking at a charter of of Ayr or the surrounding area close by.

I have come up short on internet searches. So wondered if anyone can point me in the right direction?

Does anyone know of someone who does chartered fishing trips from that area?

been out in the boat out of girvan a few times good boat good skipper and good fishing been out fishing luce bay at weekend great tope fishing caught a 30lbs and a few other spieces the boat out of girvan is called the rachael claire and the skipper is called tony wass the crew of the luce bay boat was onyer marks hope this helps

theres 2 boats from Girvan as far as I am aware , Racheal Clare, and Glorious

Actually there are now four boats, the Rachel Clare (who I am out with the morra), The Glorious, The Lady "M" and the Mistral. the latter three being a bit slow going, but with Tony you should get a good days fishing (providing you are not in the habit of feeding the five thousand).
