I have to be in Dorset during September and could possibly fit in a few days fishing is it worthwhile at this time and if so any advice is greatly appreciated

End of september/ beginning of october is my favourite time on chesil, the summer species are generally still around and the winter ones arriving. So yes, should be worth a try mate
