Chesil Moan

Fished Abbotsbury last week. Huge sea, hoolie, wrong rod, dog walked off in disgust. Caught up with him just by the car park.

But my main moan is that I dragged in two sets of feathers. One had an unmarked 2 oz lead attached. It had obviously not seen much use. Plus more than the odd feather/hook scattered on the shingle. They seemed lightweight stuff, no wonder they were lost. I suppose it's a natural consequence of a mackerel and tourist venue. But it didn't exactly make my day.

This happens every year bud,,the only way its gonna stop is to ban maky bashing on chesil(never gonna happen).people need to be educated in the correct line strength and to use shock leaders ,sure your still gonna get crack offs..etc,but at least it will stop a large percentage of them,,
the rubbish is the main one mate,Old bbqs,beer tins,bags etc, As winter approaches the beach becomes cleaner as the bashers are gone,,,strange????????:
