Started this thread for anyone fishing the Clyde Sea Lochs from boat or shore. I know the Lochs do not fish as well as they used to due to the over fishing of yesteryear. However I would be interested to hear from anyone having any success in Striven, Holy, Fyne, Long, Goil or around Bute.

Hi I've recently got a little boat on Bute and plan on a few trips around the area. I normally fish fyne and know a good few spot around there but I'm totally new to the waters around Bute. Have you managed to get any info on where is good?

There are quite a few well charted wrecks around Bute all well worth a try.
Thanks Mike I'll let you know how I get on. I plan on hitting the wreck just south east of Rothesay.

I believe there is a couple heading south but more to the east.

Have you fished any of them before?
