I fished a local beach mark with my son the other day.
HW was at 11.00 ish.
We had nothing on the up other than 2 silver eels that were put back unharmed...( slimmy things..yuck ).
Then as the tide started to turn my lad had the first codling at 2.7lbs.
Then it was my turn with one of similar size.
Every other cast seemed to result in a bite.
On my last cast i had an almighty bite that resulted in a codling of 4.6lb.
when we packed up, and this was only because i had run out of bait (DOH !!). I had 6 codling in total and my lad had 3.
So what a great sesh we had..
I hope that it keeps on coming and the fish get bigger.
Hopefully going out this HW and probably LW too...
Not going to run out of BAIT this
Tight lines.
