fished the knap this morning from 7-12 there was no wind and i had some of the best fishing for a long time ended up with 22 dogs 1 thornback about 4-5 lb and a nice smalleyed about 7-8 lb. the dogs took anything i chucked out and the rays were on double sandeel and squid. allso saw a nice bass landed looked to be 5lb+

Brilliant session there, especially the 2 rays. hopefully all put back so some other lucky angler can catch them again later on! Good news on the bass as well.

Nice sesh fishin_chippie! I was fishing there as well 7-13, but managed only 3 doggies. Lost a couple of fish when changed the rig. But I am still happy, I started seafishing couple of weeks ago. What kind of rigs have you been using for the rays?
