i see in this months sea angler advertised there is a competion under the erskine bridge.

has anyone ever fished it? was thinking of going to it as its only 2mins down the road from me?

you think the water at greenocks bad for floaters.try under the bridge.honestly if you snag it'll either be a trolley or a jumper(suicider).even on a nice day the water looks like a pool of diarroeah.

fished it twice, caught a couple of really small eels that totally destoyed my rigs, personally i wouldn't waste my time.

At times there can be quite a few small flounder about as well as eels, you need to use peeler crab if you want to catch any numbers of fish.

Fished once when the tide was going out you nead 16oz lead to hold the bottom. However you take your life in your hands if the odd male drops by
