I'm off to Anglesey in a couple of weeks for a few days of fishing, and fancied a crack at the conger off Amlwch breakwater. Any tips and increasing my chances of a conger here please!? Where should I be casting? Inside, or outside the breakwater?? :g:

The locals call the congers there "serpants"! One guy i spoke to was convinced there were record breaking congers there as people had hooked them in the past but never landed them.

I was fishing the outside, but he informed me that where you walk over the metal walk bridge bit to get onto the breakwater right back in the harbour was the place to be fishing for them.:secret:

which locals call em serpants :roll1:? the only place they are not is belted straight out off the end, over the slabs on the inside is ok for straps or try one off the end and to the left or straight down off the end.
