Been bassing lastnite with bait, neap tide shallow surf, took the vampire see how the tip does and the tip on that rod is fantastic. Lead stayed put nice curve, showed bites at 50 yards and none too stiff fish came back for 2nds on missed bites very impressed with the rod didn't blow baits apart either. Been using it in tidal waters over the winter a very useable rod.
