I'm looking at treating myself to a new fishing rod. I'm looking at one of the long rods, such as: the Greys Triplex 15ft rod, or the 15ft Conoflex Chesil Beach Match. as anyone used these rods or similar ones? I've heard good things about the Greys Triplex I fish mainly large estuaries or rocks

Imo...These continentel rods are brilliant....to a point....for estuaries i think they would be ideal, their is a chap selling a 15ft K2 in the clasified section. Another selling a triplex 15 both well suited to that task BUT i am not sure either would make a good rod for off the rocks...i stand to be corrected here because i have no experiance of that type of fishing. Just seem a little weaker than i expect you'd need for lifting fish....as i say i maybe wrong and i,m sure someone will be along shortly that can help you better on that point of you question.
