hello all
just been on a trip and have a few filets of dogfish anyone know of any good way to cook them.
all i do with them at the moment is a pan with olive oil and fry them.

I'd just carry on the way you do with a sweet chili dip:thumbs:

Ingredients for Dogfish with lemon and garlic

2 thick fillets of dogfish
3 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons lemon juice
parsley
flour
salt

How to make Dogfish with lemon and garlic

* Finely chop the garlic and parley

* In a large bowl, place the fish, garlic and parsley

* Add the lemon juice, oil, salt and mix well

* Cover and leave to marinade for up to two hours in the fridge

* Once the fish has marinated, roll the cubes in the flour and fry in hot olive oil for about 10 minutes until cooked.

serve with salad and bread :thumbs:

Try this one, one of the methods used by Filipinos in cooking those type of fish.

-saute onions and garlic in oil.
-lightly fry the fish fillets.
-pour in coconut milk.
-put salt and pepper to suit taste.
-put some sliced chillies.
-or you can even add pak choi, spring onions or spinach on it.

As per Captain Spike they make a fabulous curry! Also use as one of your fish in fish stew. I have got a recipe for smoking them so cannot wait until weekend when my new smoker is due!:punk:
