Right, something I've never really done is fish with crabs, how do you secure them onto your hook? Preparation and all that? Do you need to give them a jumper of bait elastic? Its a mystery to me.......help please anyone.............?

peel them , almost cut them in half , put on hook, put enough elastic to keep it there....job done. There is no finesse to fishing with crab baits !

Wont argue about the frills etc,however there is a video called Hooked on Bass(yep same firm as the book)-where they demonstrate how they mount a crab.Do the same,you wont go far wrong.
