Early start this morning with high hopes of a ray or two. Seeing all the bondes being caught locally lately had me full of boyish optimism.
Any way arrived at said mark and was treated to a lovely sunrise

First cast and you guessed it whoof whoof. This was followed by a dog a cast until a double shot, a codling of approx 12 oz and another dog lol.

All went quiet around top tide, then as the ebb started so the dogs came on the feed again. Finished up with 8 dogs and the one codling. Baits were sandeel. Crab and squid.
