Still nice rods especially if you can find one that’s not had a lot of use, they did tend to go softer over time. Problem is they still go up on eBay etc for ridiculous prices.

 

Yeah seen people saying that do you think there ok for clean beaches

 

I’ve used mine from everything between clean beaches to occasionally on rock marks and they coped fine, but definitely best on clean/mixed

 

If it's the AWB 129pm with a reducer, I got one and it's lovely to use.. Not overly stiff. Can handle a 6oz and a whole squid and chuck a good distance. Weight wise, there no heavier than a zziplex. Can't compare it to a conti, cos they normally got thin walled blanks. They might be 25-30 yrs old but they are quality rods.
