Can anyone advise, whats the difference between an emcast 5500 and a 6000, I have both and use the spools interchangeably on them, is this ok or might I be doing some damage to the reel by using the different spool?
I'm not sure where the actual difference lies between the 5500 and the 6000 (except the number of course!), would it be size of the reel, line capacity, retrieve, or something different? Can't see any noticeable difference in size (although the next one down in the range is noticeably smaller.)
Any advice most welcome

i'm fairly certain that it's just the line capacity of the spools that's different and they are interchangeable. if i' wrong no doubt someone will set me straight, hope that helps mate:)

Cheers, I'm happier about inter-changing the spools in that case. Hasn't done any visible damage thus far
