Hi,

I am fairly new to beachcasting and have found a Daiwa Moonraker and Abu 6 reel for £40 in good condition. Has anybody used one of these Rods or know what they are like? I want something to get good distance with casting most styles that is not too expensive because I am a beginner.

Hi Vaughn,

For that price you cant go far wrong.

Take a few lessons from a casting instructor before developing bad habits, for the sake of a few pounds or a couple of pints it is well worth it.
