Once again I set off for Deal, 3rd time in a week:yeah: I am a lucky boy, getting there about 20.00, low tide being 20.45 lots of surf but no wind. Trying Loosegoose suggestion one rod whole squid at the back of the surf the other a three hook flapper using Lug as far as it would go.No fish at all at a distance so fished midway and ended up with 15 whiting 6 keepers even tried one that swallowed the hook as dead bait instead of the squid but nothing. About 23.00 the wind picked up and so did the weed so I called it a day Pete

thanks for the report, going to deal tonight for a few hours up to high water, probably in the groynes again.
