why what happend jay?

Lets put it this way Gav - the only "advice" on marks etc I am going to take is from the good people on here, not a shoo or anything. And the wind just wound me up lmao think am gonna give it another go tomoro for a few hours, the wind should have died right down compared to recent days!

It might be worth going by the round tower ? tides dropping,you should be out the wind,or at least get some shelter away from the wind. Think BASS lob a big bait out just to the right by the rocks (Bass should be looking for free offerings there) and the other rod if your gonna fish 2 rods cast out 30 feet max!! bass should be feeding hard there at the moment.

Or Stay home,save ya bait untill the weather is better...xcweather is spot on mate.

Saw the link u put up to xc the other day on a post Leigh so pinched it lol looks good tbh. I'm considering near the pier/blocks as its ten mins walk from me and I cba to walk far after today's escapades lol not a bad idea tho, ill have a think mate

If you fish the blocks you aint gonna get any shelter mate what so ever its gonna be in yer face!! lol,,, OR behind mozzy Joes and the rowing club slipway thing (gap inbetween building i think) you could maybe sit/stand in there out the wind as that wind gonna be a be atch and the spray standing on the beach aint gonna be nice.

Where ever you go think about wind direction,get out the wind for comfort and less chance of getting peed off with it. Maybe hi water behind the sea life center ?? reckon good chance of a nice bass there m8,plus you be out the wind i think.

MAN UP,get out there in this weather with no waterproofs show what ya made off ( i aint going out,to wet to windy and i might mess my hairdooo up ) plus my aftershave might wash off in the rain..

As soon as you move in mate get a quote for contents insurance and insure your gear if left in the garage !! Also make some rafters up and put rods and boxes up there (out of prying eyes)

Couple years ago i use to keep all my gear in the shed,you try having a work bench in there,top box roll cab,2 bed chairs plus all my carping gear and wet weather gear then all my fishing gear all rammed in a tiny shed... i got annoyed,so while the Mrs was out i got all my rods bed chairs bags all in the house in spare room,she wasnt happy about that. But in the end she saw things my way,and counted the cost up of what my gear is worth lol.

Dont go leaving your gear in the motor after a nights fishing parked on the drive thinking its safe,,,nothing safe in Pompey,even when bolted down.

Definitely will be mate! Lives in the flat at mo so can't wait to actually have it somewhere in one place!

i keep all mine in the loft, sure it takes 2 mins longer to get out, but its very secure .
