the british shore caught record was from the area you are going to I am a boat angler and dont know the ins and outs or any of the marks but what you are looking for are deep water marks macky has to be the best bet although the 68lber that was caught from a secret mark was on a flounder bait and was caught in the early winter apparantly they come in close after the flattys at that time of year

had a nice tope last year on the boat at woody bay but a better one off of combe martin 6ft long couldnt weigh it scales to small.
