So I have mastered re-entry, done some anchoring, paddled against wind and tide and come ashore in surf.
I now fancy going out with a rod and came across this

Anyone any experience of these or can offer advice on which rod might be a good idea to carry on my Yak?

Cheers
Nicko

Well I buy any cheap rod and reel on flea bay, they all seem ok, and have a hard life on a kayak.
The reel is usually in the sea every trip, the rod takes a bashing sometimes too.
I would not be too fussy, avoid the hype, any rod catches fish.
Mine were £30, and have lasted three years so far.
6ft is plenty long enough.
I take my spinning rod sometimes, and that is 9 foot, because I sometimes want to cast.
Iv'e just looked at this rod!! Blimy it's cheap, give it a go, what have you got to lose? Very short, but I would like to try a very short rod.
