Was fishing tenby headland this morning and seas with a lot of swell.Between the headland the caldy island i could be line of 'dirty water' approaching the shore which I assume was currents creating it. I had no bites for 2 hours and as this line was approaching was wondering whether the fish would be 'pushed' to the shore looking for clearer water. Just as the line was 20 m out I hooked into 2 pound pollock on a sand, squid cocktail on a float.!!! Not sure if this was a fluke or whether the fish would moved out of the dirty water. Any views?

how are you semigog
when you fish the dirty water line you will catch pollock bass garfish mackerel what happens is the line is awash with food rotting seaweed breeds maggotts etc so when you see a dirty water line within casting distance get into it you never know whats underneath it
