Has anybody caught a cod that has sores all over it's body ?
I caught one yesterday that was in bad nick nearly made me sick any answers?
I was fishing in the Aberdeen area.

Hi Graham

I fish the same area, and no I have not seen any sores on any fish this season, however - the codling I have caught this year have been small young fish. Nothing bigger than 3 lb unfortunately.

How big was the scabby thing?

It was about 5lbs put up a great fight.
