I Have not fished the west pier in a few years. I lost my interest there when I got a licence for 2 years for the east dock ( quieter than the west pier because of the fee but also fished better) , since the docks authoritys stopped the license for that I stopped fishing there alltogether as blue skip suggested the license fee was an insult though I admit it's nice and easy and a great place to teach the kids the ropes in relative safety. It always fished quite well then through both summer and winter mostly small stuff many and varied. Can the docks security police the west dock, it doesn't seem likely as they are situated on the east side, has anyone been challenged for a license?
