I don't know m8,i have always had bigger bass in the winter.My pb bass was on jan the 3rd.:sun:

yes mate come late winter they move off to there spawning grounds..but fear not because now is the time to try for them inshore as they binge on calories for breeding.

that's because its my birthday ;) lol around here the smaller bass tend to disappear and the numbers caught drops fairly steeply over the colder months, however the ones that you do hear of being caught are generally the bigger sized fish..... something to bear in mind...
