Does anyone have much luck at the doctors house, near howick, i think? never fished there, just dived there, and theres always loads of leads there, but never thought about picking them up because at the time i didnt fish. I could make a pretty penny if i got all the weights from there and sold them for cheap:clap2:

Had the odd fish from there mate.

I reckon that Howick Haven, about 400 yards south of the Doctors House, is a better mark, especially in the winter (not this winter mind).

If you're going, take plenty of sinkers, although with a little experience it is possible to hit a few clear areas.

yer, like i said, ive dived there, very kelpy there, and sinkers scattered eveywhere, could you get cod all year round there, or would it just be best to try in the winter?

Winter definitely best for cod, but wrasse and pollock turn up in the summer, as well as the odd dogfish and conger.

ive never done well from there for a few years now, well nothing worth being happy about used to be a cracking spot very hitty missy tho same as cullernose point but cullernose did produce some nice fish last winter i herd

lol, good point, to be honest, never seen that many fishing down there, dont know if they were hiding, or what not, but not that many
