Hi all .
I was not sure about going as the webcam of where i wanted to go showed heavy mist and drizzely stuff
But took a chance picking up some lively rag on the way
After endless driving ....its nice a sunny ,,,Hooray .
"0 mins up winding paths got to where i wanted to go

Close infirst wrasse out in 5 mins

fish a cast for 2 hrs then stopped as quickly as it started .
Lots few leads/rigs .No macky or anything else .
One bite slammed down hard ,f/s reel handle wizzing around ,rod slidding off the leadgr almost in the drink ,,,,,got to it and grabbed it with 2inches of the butt to grab ....off course fish legged it

You using the old paperclip method there?
I have never tried it but have been told that the clip will straighten out if you get snagged and you only lose your weight not the rig. If you have a decent fish on then you hopefully wont lose the fish.

Yes m8 used trhis for many years on rough marks i fish,wrasse ,eels .They hold a good 5/6 oz when eeling ,no probs with them try it
