I made one out of of a butt section of a boat rod, & used an old Penn Senator 6/0 loaded with 50lb Dacron, attached to the dacron (by piercing two holes in it) was a piece of plastic tubing the right size to accept a Zip Slider (end-on), & of course a 2lb lead!
Through the Zip Slider "safety pin" clip I thread my reel line, which is stopped by a bead at the Zip Slider, when a fish takes the bait, the reel-line pulls out of the Zip Slider giving me direct contact to the fish on 20lb braid with no weight, brill.
Works brilliantly for plaice with an attractor spoon in fast tides
