I think the alumlnos stuff you could see is shrimp eyes when they become disturbed there eyes light up luminos i think lol

Apologies for late report
Fished Dungy Wednesday with my brother, arrived at the boards and found the beach quite busy, found a spot to the left of the boards as someone was just packing up!! Never a good sign
Fished from 3pm til around 10pm, into whiting from the off which is how it continued for most of the night! also caught 3 or 4 small dabs, a dogfish and 2 tiny pouting which were used as live bait but no joy!!
As the tide rose and night set in the weed started to become a real pain, always worse trying to remove a line full of weed with just a small headlamp,
Here comes the bit I need your wealth of experience on, I turn round from glaring at my rod tip to find my brother staring at the ground on his knees!!im thinking very strange, he's adamant he can see glowing green lights in the pebbles, so we both look and realise that yes they're was indeed green luminescent glare from the pebbles, a little freaked out we carried on fishing,
Then we realised it was the seaweed, basically as we stripped it off our line it remained dark because we had our headlamp fixed on the weed, the moment we took away the light this seaweed(lots of it) became luminescent, it really glared up if you stood on it!! Very strange, anyone else noticed that before? Im convinced it's a natural occurrence, my brother was convinced it was toxic waste from the Power station
All in all a good trip and great to get out, had been a while.

We were there on Friday evening and experienced the same weed. It was a real pain stripping it off the line but when I saw it glowing green I thought I was just seeing dots after staring at tip lights!!Hi all

It was very odd, but really interesting to see. It glowed more as it was handled.
