OK, not me but a mate. He fished 3pm - 9-30pm right on the point. Water a nice brown. He was having a go for a cod. Lots of whiting, no Cod. The wind held up the flood which was barely a trickle, then the ebb was like a train, couldn't hold out with 7oz fixed wires.

Lots of whiting up to 1lb, no coddies. Bait - blacks and squid.

Yep, I asked him about the weed and he said it wasn't an issue.

the north easterlies have cleared it then. i want to fish the point but not if the tide is that strong. big tides ,ebb goin with the wind aswell,not good

we`re heading down about 3pm,gona get fish n chips n set up in daylight then start fishing when it gets dark till 1-2 am. not sure where i wana fish,will decide when i get there.
