Dunnet bay is good for fishing during the summer. Loads of mackerel, pollock, coalfish and flatties to be had. We have held fishing comps up there a few times.

The website that lewisteh posted gives some numbers for boat fishing. Well the number on there for Jon Sinclair is no good now as he has given the business some years ago. I cannot remember the number for the new guy (Hebridian Warrior) but i can get hold of it should you need it.

I shall ask a few of the lads about the area on sunday as we are heading up that way for a fishing bash on the Hebridian Warrior.

To be honest both low and high tide catch up there so the choiceis yours. If you decide to fish off the rocks there though be careful as the waves are powerful and unpredictable at times.
