Pre-dawn low tide start. Arrived with frozen lug and a makerel after the reports of success wth fish strip recently. Pumped a score of blacks and was fishing with fresh on one rod and makerel strip on the other at the start of the flood.Flat sea and no wind. Bites on the lug from the off, unfortunately just ting after ting...('bout time they buggered off:nono:). The only two decent pulls resulted in two codling :) to make it worthwhile. Left at 8-30-ish. Flatties still seem scarce, and the mackie strip produce zilch for me.

Was much the same for me last night, apart from the codling.
