East/South East Meet 24 or 31 March.
I'm posting a new thread as the old East Coast meet thread is getting a bit cluttered.
I don't mind helping to organise another meet and I think it would be a good idea to include the South East forum so more of us Essex boys can come too.
I suggest Felixstowe. We could all meet in the Viewpoint Car Park ( where the burger van is!!) and disperse from there to Landguard or where ever.
Suggest either 24 March ( High Water 1430-ish ) or 31 March ( High Water 1130-ish BST, mind).
Steve/Cascars - can you sort out where to post thread and sticky etc.?

hopefully woith all this activity at felixstowe of tides breaking the wall and stirring the bed up may get a good session in , havent seen much weed this week and considering the winds the orwel side has been relativly calm, a few odd boats out be interesting to know if they have had any luck?
Someone mentioned at the beginning about maybe getting a deal on bait, any news on that or are we just looking after ourselves on the day?

for all those interested in the felixstowe get together , please email me with quantity of worm you require as ive spoken to a supplier who has kindly agreed to do a deal for us, obviously this is a one off deal as we expect to need a good few hundred worm, please let me know by monday lunch time at the latest , i can then get the price according to how many ordered as a group, i will then email directly the details to yourselves individualy, then its upto you to collect them, alternativly if you want me or someone else to do it send them the money for us to collect them, on your behalf, ive been assured the worms are good quality,not the ****y little things

Just to confirm it's the 31 March. High Tide is about 1430. Meet at the Viewpoint Car Park between say 1000 and 1100 and start fishing 1130 and finish about1700

No not really , he forgot that he was away with the sprouts this weekend, so if anyone wants some worm's come and see me, I'll be in the floaty suit without a hood, wearing carpet slippers, and tying rigs on the beach !

On a more serious note, I have had a look through the posts and there seems to be some differences with the the meet time, can someone confirm what time and where we are meeting?
We're meeting in the Viewpoint car park. Originally I said between 1000 and 1100
But I'll be there about 0930 if you want to pick your bait up. Then we can all shoot off in different directions to fish. I intend to fish the very end of the beach in front of the car park nearest the docks, save me walking far.
The beach to the right of the Viewpoint (looking at the sea) might be a bit snaggy and difficult to hold on the ebb but the nature reserve beach should be ok.
