Hi Folks
Had a wrecking trip out of Eastbourne on Katrina Yesterday, conditions were ideal despite the forecast.
Seven on board had 1 Cod, 6lbs and a 3lb Codling. Nine Pollock to !0lbs, a Coalfish, 4lbs, a Red Gurnard, 4 Whiting to 2lbs and lots of large Pouting. (All weighed to the nearest pound)
Most amazing of all were the Mackerel, lots of them and the biggest that I have ever seen, hardly any small ones. Maybe things on the charter fishing are changing.
Next week I am out of Portsmouth on Meridian Express, this is an fish hunt on wrecks that he hasn't fished before, might be interesting. Will report next week.
Cheers
Drew
