fished here today with the pink lady(the wife), i got here at 9am just as tide was coming in not a big tide today 6.6mts, bait was lug, n rag,fished 4 rods 2 each, total was 2 mudrats, to me 1at 18cm, n the other at 30 cm:clap2::clap2::clap2:both to me. heres a pic or to .....:victory:

Hi Mark.......you might want to consider hanging a squid on a spare rod now.

hi mark snakeman, a 6.6 mtr tide is a biggish tide as far as the thames goes and also fishing in a easterly wind normally would make the fishing crap, but i think you done quite well considering the conditions.
I would say for bass & flatties best fished on smallish tides and any wind patterns with a westerly.
( smaller tides allow for lighter leads and longer times for bait presentation before bait gets washed out and dislogged by strong tides )
bigger tides generaly for codling.

best fishies.
