ello all
ive been a beach angler all my life ,but a newbie to lure fishing got some cheap gear to catch fish abroad,so now im looking for
A ,atravel rod must go in suitcase
B must be able to cast the smallest of jellys, and up to 20z poppers ,weights etc
C ,have budget of £100 this i think should cover most rods except the top range stuff which i wouldent buy anyway ,so there we are is therea rod out there ?
oh mainly from beaches so must be able to cast a lure ,cheers

The casting range you ask for may not be a comfortable possibility. If you want to cast 2 0zs (50 gr'ish) then it will be a little stiff for light jellies.

I used to own a two piece Rovex spinning rod that I used for pollack and light feathering for mackerel. Decent enough rod as long as it was rinsed after use (the guide frames were prone to rust)

Works and you can get lighter/shorter ones - although the BX has probably been superseded the STC 5pc is likely to be just as good. Cost £100 iirc.
